Welcome to October, a month filled with crisp air, falling leaves, and a renewed focus on self-care. There’s no better time to embrace self-care than now, and Thee Self Care Mom Society is here to guide you through this season.
It’s been 30 days since we launched, and I’m thrilled to see how our community has grown into a supportive space where moms come together to share their stories, wins, and challenges. Whether you’re a new mom navigating the ups and downs of motherhood or a seasoned pro looking to recharge, Thee Self Care Mom Society has something for everyone.
With this platform, I envisioned creating a supportive and uplifting community specifically for moms, where we could come together to share practical tips, expert resources, and self-care strategies. It's not just about offering inspiration; it’s about forming a tribe of like-minded women who truly understand the balancing act of motherhood and the importance of prioritizing self-care. It’s been so therapeutic and amazing for me to curate this space, and I take great pride in the connections we’re building here.
I am incredibly proud of this community and the incredible women I’ve met on this journey. The engagement, the stories shared, and the support we offer one another have made this platform more than I ever dreamed it could be.

This October, I’m excited to share that our official logo has debuted! Our new symbol of Thee Self Care Mom Society features a beautiful lotus flower, and let me tell you why this flower means so much to me. The lotus rises through the mud to bloom, a powerful symbol of perseverance, growth, and resilience. As moms, we go through so much, often pushing through challenges to bloom for our families and ourselves. I wanted the lotus to represent the strength and beauty that each of us possesses, even in our most difficult moments.
One of the most meaningful symbols for Thee Self Care Mom Society is the lotus flower, which is why it proudly represents our community and mission. To truly appreciate its significance, I encourage you to watch this powerful video about the history of the lotus flower.
In this video, you’ll learn about how the lotus has long been a symbol of perseverance, strength, and rebirth across different cultures. It rises through the mud to bloom, embodying the idea that we can overcome challenges and grow into something beautiful, no matter the circumstances.

We’ve come so far together, and I can’t believe we’re already deep into our Fall Self Care Challenge! This challenge is all about mixing daily and weekly practices that help us care for ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally, as we soak up everything this beautiful season has to offer. For those of you participating, how’s it going? I love hearing your updates on what you’re doing to make self-care a priority this season.
Personally, I’m focusing on baking and exploring new fall-inspired recipes. I was so excited to try a new dinner recipe "Fall Meatballs" using Thai Yellow Curry sauce and Trader Joe’s famous Pumpkin butter and, for the first time ever, I'm also excited to trying to bake homemade banana bread! Baking has always brought me joy, and I promised myself I’d get back into it as a way to nurture myself.
